Am I good enough?

All have sinned...

Every one of us have offended God! No matter how hard we try to do good, we all do things that are wrong in His sight!

God records every sin, and the Bible teaches that “every one of us shall give account of himself to God

  • Every lie
  • Every evil action
  • Every wrong thought
  • Every bad word

The truth is:

“The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23)

Our wrongdoing demands eternal punishment:

“Sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death” (James 1:15)

Gods standard for Heaven is perfection - none of us measure up!

“Scripture hath concluded all under sin” (Galatians 3:22)

...and come short of the glory of God.

Heaven is a holy place “and there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth” (Revelation 21:27)

How then can a person be sure of Heaven?

“God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

Because we cannot reach God’s perfect standard, God provided a perfect Saviour! The Lord Jesus Christ, “who did no sin”, took our place on the cross and suffered for our sins.

“Christ died for our sins...was buried...rose again the third day” (1st Corinthians 15:3-4)

God offers you the certainty of a place in Heaven forever through faith in Christ alone.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

We are not good enough! The Bible says:

“There is none good but one, that is, God.” (Mark 10:18)

We have all offended God! He says:

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1st John 1:8)

But God’s good news is that:

“Christ died for the ungodly.” (Romans 5:6)

Why did Christ die for us?

“That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:15)

How can you and I be made right with God?

“Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” (Romans 3:28)
